Jasmine

I am originally from Tacoma, WA where I began dance training as a little girl. After performing for Walt Disney World and Disney Live touring shows upon graduating high school, I studied Dance and Music at the University of Washington and graduated with honors in 2015. I then pursued the Mark Morris Dance Group intensive program in New York before performing briefly with DASS Dance back in Seattle. I moved to Los Angeles and completed the L.A. Contemporary Dance Company’s summer intensive before performing as a guest artist with Lula Washington Dance Theatre and Daurden Dance Company.

In addition to being a part of NAACP-award winning plays in Los Angeles between 2016 and 2018, my performance work has also spanned across media networks such as TNT, Amazon Prime, Pure Flix, and SyFy. In 2019, I left the entertainment industry and became a police officer for the City of Lakewood. I have since resigned from law enforcement to return to the creative arts, teach yoga, and share more time with my family. I find great balance and cross-training between my specialties of ballet and yoga, which I look forward to sharing with others.
